The Rio Grande Pepper makes for easy growing and contains a pleasant, mildly hot taste useful in a variety of dishes. The plants can reach up to around 2 ft. in height. Watch these peppers turn from a bright green to a yellow, and finally to an orange-red when they hit maturity. The lengths of these conical pods may vary from 4” long up to 6” long, depending on when you harvest them. These peppers can be pickled, used in salsa or salads or dried for flakes. Heat level is mild.
